The Internations Club every year has dedicated a week to

share who they are through on campus activities. These events are for students to become more aware of their fellow peers as well as a little about the countries they come from. Throughout the week activities such as Coffee meet and greet, an event to see how spicy you like your food featuring foods around

the world, an informal event, of course the international dinner and the event that I attended was their annual fashion show.

Fashion show is an event the International club has been putting on for the last couple years. It combines music from each region that was presented along with students from these countries dressed in traditional or non-traditionally. Students who are not apart of the club or not even foreign are allowed to participate in the show. Students walked down the aisle of the ballroom representing all continents and about 3 countries within. This gave students a chance to show us who they are and just have fun with it.

Every so often there were a couple performers to give models a chance to change. There were 2 singers and a saxophone player to entertain the crowd as they awaited to the place. They each had a couple minutes, this was as close to an intermission as possible but not really. At the end of the show they held a trivia game and as a prize they gave out free tickets to the dinner that will be taking place this Saturday. The event makes students culturally aware in a fun way, while it gives students studying abroad a chance to educate those who are not knowledgable about their homes. It was a great experience and I definitely recommend those who have never been to go next year or even just participate in the rest of the week.
